- ½ cup butter (notes oleo is ok)
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 2 cups cake flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ¾ cup milk
Cream butter; sugar; add 1 egg at a time and beat very well. Add flour, baking powder, milk and vanilla. Beat 5 minutes. Bake in Bundt pan, greased well at 375° for 45 minutes.
What do you suppose would happen if really old baking powder is used?
